Welcome

Whether you're moving here tomorrow or just curious about the DMV, you've come to the right place.

I'm Robert Clarke with Coldwell Banker Realty — an engineer turned real estate agent with a Master's from George Washington University and a deep love for this area. Washington, DC is home to nearly 700,000 residents across 8 wards, and the broader metro area is home to 6.3 million people. This guide is my way of sharing everything I've learned about the neighborhoods, the commute, the food scene, and the hidden gems that make this city one of America's most livable.

"Moving to a new city is one of life's biggest decisions. My job is to make sure you have the full picture — not just the listings, but the neighborhoods, the commute, the schools, and the hidden gems that turn a house into a home."

"Washington, DC has more free museums and monuments than any other city in America. The Smithsonian alone operates 21 museums and the National Zoo — all free to the public. For families, young professionals, and retirees alike, that kind of access is unmatched."
